Government Wants Call
Girl's Money
The
U.S. government wants to keep $61,000 that they seized from Stanford
Law graduate/call girl. IRS agents don't like the idea that Cristina
Schultz, 31, a graduate of prestigious Stanford Law School, went
to work as a high-priced call girl to pay off her $300,000 in
student loans. And so, although Attorney Cristina Schultz hasn't
been accused of a crime, the U.S. Government is trying to keep
$61,000 of her money under forfeiture laws that let the government
keep property that results from a federal crime; even if the property's
owner hasn't been convicted or even charged with a crime.
How
did she get so much money? It was her prices: up to $1,300 for
two hours, $5,000 for overnight and $15,000 for three days.
