Republican Gay Basher Doing Gay Prostitution & Porn

How embarrassing this must be for the Republicans who have made a decision to allow a gay hooker to ask the President of the United States questions in the White House. They made a decision to give a man with an alias and no journalistic experience access to the West Wing of the White House on a daily basis. They also made a decision to give him access to information that exposed a clandestine CIA operative Valerie Plame, leading to his grilling by the grand jury. What kind of war-time leadership can't find the same information that took bloggers only days to find? Kind of scary if you ask me. Not only that, but Jim Guckert, A.K.A. Jeff Gannon was vocally anti-gay... yes, it gets worse.

Jeff Gannon began covering the White House two years ago for an obscure Republican Web site (Talon-News.com). He was known for his friendly questions, including asking Bush at last month's news conference how he could work with Democrats "who seem to have divorced themselves from reality." Seems it was his own perceptions that were not in reality... what could he possibly be thinking to join the ranks of the Bush camp, openly bash gays while operating multiple gay prostitution web sites where he himself was featured?

He came under scrutiny after revelations that the administration was paying conservative pundits to talk up Bush's proposals. By examining Internet records, online sleuths at DailyKos.com figured out that his real name was Jim Guckert and he owned various Web sites, including HotMilitaryStud.com, MilitaryEscorts.com and MilitaryEscortsM4M.com.

Last week, however, he abruptly quit, and all of the stories he wrote were erased from the web site. A great many were on gay issues, including one detailing John Kerry's "pro-homosexual platform" that was headlined mockingly, "Kerry Could Become First Gay President."

Ultimately, it is the hypocrisy that is so shocking in this story. This is the same White House that ran for office on a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage while they use a gay hooker to write articles for their gay hating political base? While they use a gay hooker to destroy a political enemy? Not to mention the hypocrisy of a "reporter" who chooses to publish article after article defending the anti-gay, religious-right point of view on gay civil rights issue.

Oddly, in researching this story I found very little that the main stream press was covering on it... seems the media often erroneously referred to as the "liberal media" has not jumped on this story much at all. Apparently a gay hooker in the anti-gay White House is not an interesting story to cover?

Jeff Gannon has since shut down his sites and wrote on his main web site (www.JeffGannon.com)... "The voice goes silent. In consideration of the welfare of me and my family, I have decided to return to private life." Jeff is single, so one can only assume he is referring to his blood relatives when he refers to "family." I can't imagine what they must be going through.

Jeff Gannon recently wrote "I'm everything people on the Left seem to despise. I'm a man who is white, politically conservative, a gun-owner, an SUV driver and I've voted for Republicans. I'm pro-American, pro-military, pro-democracy, pro-capitalism, pro-free speech, anti-tax and anti-big government. Most importantly, I'm a Christian. Not only by birth, but by rebirth through the blood of Jesus Christ."

What Jeff does not realize is that the Left does not despise any of those things. Liberals are against people trying to tell the country that we have to live like you Jeff... afraid to live freely while selling out our integrity. We want to be able to live in a world where we are allowed to be true to ourselves and don't have our freedom and rights taken away by anyone... especially not influenced by a closeted, gay prostitute who has lost his integrity.

If Jeff did gay porn and did so openly with acceptance of his lifestyle, I would not be writing this article. What I have a problem with is that Jeff bashed his own lifestyle and has been breaking the law while at it. It is obnoxiously, outspoken people like this that bash the very nature of our company (Holistic Wisdom, Inc.) as we struggle to provide truthful, healthy perceptions of sexuality.

In an interview Jeff said that what he does in his personal life should not be any one's business. Funny, I don't recall anyone thinking that of Clinton's personal life. I also think that it is not what he does in his spare time that is so shocking but the outright hypocrisy!

I truly believe that those who speak the loudest against sexual freedoms are those that are the most afraid of their own sexuality. I can't help but notice that my opposition (to sexual freedom) is so loud, angry and hateful toward people like me. A straight, monogamous woman speaking out for gay rights must be confusing to people like Jeff who ultimately need the most help and compassion for that very issue.

I am not saying that anyone that opposes sexual freedom for themselves are wrong... they are entitled to their opinion and lifestyle, but to push for legislation that would keep the public from being sexually educated through sexual abstinence only programs, or banning gay marriage, which is not about condoning the lifestyle but allowing equal civil rights to that population. Bottom line, I have a problem with discrimination, hatred and hypocrisy.

I stand for sexual freedom & education and in turn, I have been disowned by my in-laws, and some friends because I have had to dig deep for the courage to stand up for those freedoms that I teach. Not to mention that I respect that it is a freedom that our country has fought so hard to protect... can you say the same Jim/Jeff, with all of your military hype? Can you say that what you have done is worthy of our military sacrificing lives while you bash the very freedom that every person deserves regardless of sexual orientation? I think not.

It takes a lot of courage to stand up and say that gays and lesbians are worthy of equality, let alone admit you are one. I do not know what Jim/Jeff must hate more... his hypocrisy and denial of himself or the fact that if he embraced his true self that he would not fit in to the world he has falsely idolized as superior. A world of legal discrimination against those who dare to think or feel outside or mainstream values.

I really could go off here about the unbelievable hypocrisy, the unfair, unethical and outrageous actions that the far Right continue to do... but I will let people like Jeff Gannon demonstrate for themselves why trying to stuff the diversity of people, making up many shapes, into a square hole doesn't work and never will.

The world is what we make it... let's try and make it honest, beautiful, compassionate and have the level of integrity that is worth standing up for every day in ALL that we do.
