The
Mysterious Mitusa Technique
An
Oral Sex Technique Claiming To Be
Effective For Achieving The Female Orgasm

I want to
take you on a journey, one of opening up questions and inviting
your feedback on the case of this mysterious oral sex technique
called the Mitusa Technique.
It claims
to be effective at bringing women to orgasm through oral sex
and was brought to my attention by one of our newsletter readers.
I want your
feedback about this as we will be following up on this issue
in a future newsletter with reader comments and a review of
what people have said about the techniques.
The site
that plugs this technique and claims to be the only site that
provides this information (MatchConsultant.net) actually gives
you little information about it other than it being secret.
UPDATE-
To qualify
to receive the Mitusa technique for free, you must be willing
to answer a few market research questions and then they eMail
the technique to you in links to hidden web pages to access
the information. However, I have been told that if you do
not want to complete the research essay questions that are
required to get the technique, that it is available for $30
as reported by one of their customers that obtained it that
way.
According
to customers, once you receive access, you receive a large amount
of information on oral sex techniques. One customer reported
that it seemed to him not to be one technique as much as it
was a "collection of techniques," with a focus on
controlling certain aspects. There is an order of the techniques
suggested, but it is complex and seems to take some time to
develop according to feedback we have received.
What we
have heard from customers of the Mitusa technique is that it
does not seem to be anything more than general oral sex techniques
that are suggested in a certain order so as not to over or under
stimulate the clitoris. Reviews we have received so far indicate
that the information was adequate for oral sex, but that it
was not unique or easy to understand from the way the information
was provided. One reviewer indicated that it was like trying
to learn oral sex from a set of stereo instructions.
Side
Note- Remember that you want to make sure that the eMail
address you provide can easily be protected by spam filters
as many companies will sell your eMail address or provide a
large amount of spam to solicit you for other products they
are selling.
Mitusa
As A Dating Strategy-
In doing
research on the Mitusa technique we received feedback from newsletter
subscribers about what they knew of the technique. Amazingly,
it turns out there is a group of people who actually market
the technique in order to get dates with others using it as
a sort of bait. There are also postings from women that claim
they will only date men who know it.
Whether
these are postings from those who love the technique or from
those who are affiliated with the company and are trying to
create a need through postings to market it is unknown. A common
place to find postings about it is through LavaLife.com (a singles
dating site) where one woman said in her headline something
such as 'You'd better know Mitusa'.
We even
received an angry eMail from one man who claimed that he had
lost dates from this very article when it was originally run
on 12-19-04 because he was using the Mitusa technique to land
women for sexual interludes and felt that some of the things
that were discussed about it were messing up his strategy to
entice women through knowledge of Mitusa. Apparently, we have
been told that he is now posting negative things about this
article to try and make us look like we are incompetent in reporting
on this topic.
The
Mitusa Is Given To Men Only?
It was true
that the woman who runs this site (Jill McGoldrick) claimed
that women were not allowed to obtain it. So much for sexual
empowerment for women or lesbians for that matter.
Already
it seemed this site was geared toward single men for their products,
and catering to even the most sexually astute man by possibly
suggesting to him that he is currently inadequate when it comes
to providing the "ultimate sexual pleasure."
Jill indicated
on it that she would not share the technique with women because
she said that most men prefer that they get exclusivity. Which
in my opinion meant that most men be given a way to manipulate
by dangling a sexual technique in front of a woman to add to
their agenda to get a woman to sleep with them. Sounded ridiculous
to me.
She also
wrote that by refusing to send to women, they make sure that
men need women. I was sorry to break it to her, but men need
women for more reasons than to practice a sexual technique.
Jill also
claimed that women were more prone to sending it out to all
their friends and this again seemed like yet another backward
way to approach women by implying to them that a "sexual
technique" that would make them feel good (according to
the site) is none of your business. It seemed that this was
another marketing technique geared toward desperate men.
UPDATE-
The owner
of the site, Jill McGoldrick contacted me after seeing my article
and told me that she was now allowing women to have access to
it. I am happy to know that it was an article that we provided
that made a positive impact. It appears after looking at the
site that other things are getting changed on it as well, so
I am happy to report that our comments on issues presented in
this article are making an impact in the way that Jill is marketing
her products.
I suggested
that she try and make some other changes as outlined in this
article and I am hoping she will consider them. From what she
has indicated to me via eMail it sounds like she will be changing
things on her site based on my observations in this article.
I am happy to know that it was this article that created awareness
that women's sexual empowerment is important and should not
be neglected.
Is
The Mitusa Technique Real & Does It Work?
According
to the web site it is a sexual technique, but how original,
secret or effective it is remains to be seen. We will be reviewing
the feedback we receive on the technique in a future newsletter
with more detail. From what I have heard so far however, it
sounds just like one of the many techniques we teach in our
book and video The
Art of Female Ejaculation which was copyright protected
under the Library of Congress in 2002 (apparently well before
the makers of this technique came out with claims of it). The
technique is not presented as a female ejaculation technique,
but it is a way to provide less over and under stimulation on
the clitoris.
However,
it does seem odd that this company has named a technique that
sounds similar to one that I teach in my book and video
The Art of Female
Ejaculation and claims it to be secret and found no
where else.
I
would like to point out that you would have a hard time trying
to get a patent on a sexual technique. Why? Because what can
be done sexually has most likely been done before long before
someone tries to claim they invented it. It would be like trying
to claim that you invented rubbing your nose because of a tickle
sensation and then blowing it. That combination of actions is
not considered a secret technique and nor should anything sexual.
I am here to educate people about their sexuality and I certainly
find it ridiculous for anyone to claim that they invented a
technique that no one else knows about or sells information
about.
If
you are going to sell or provide sexual information, you should
focus more on why it is effective, not try and make it seem
valuable because no one else has ever taught it or thought of
it before because you end up looking foolish in my opinion.
How
We Had The Mitusa Technique Brought To Our Attention-
I have been
told that this technique was only developed six months ago so
it appears to be a new "sexual technique," and thus
is why we are asking people for feedback about what they think.
As I said,
it was brought to my attention by one of our readers (Rob) and
I had never heard of it. I asked some of my fellow sexual health
professionals including those highly educated in Tantra and
Kama Sutra as well as other forms of sexual techniques. They
had not heard of it either.
When I asked
if it was all right with Rob if I discussed his question via
our newsletter he agreed but said something I think was an important
point and one that I have wanted to address for a long time.
He said "It would appear you're as clueless as I am. Correct?"
I liked
that he asked this because I think too often people assume that
someone in my profession would know everything there is to know
about sex. That would not be true. This is what I said about
it in an eMail to Rob (about the site promoting the Mitusa technique
and about my knowledge of this and other sexual topics).
Hi
Rob,
I
looked at the site that promotes the Mitusa technique that you
mentioned and it certainly looks like a quick way to generate
"a need" for the product which is a highly effective psychological
marketing approach. I think you may have noticed that even though
we sell female ejaculation products, we certainly provide a
lot of information about it unlike this Mitusa site, because
we believe that those who want to learn more should at least
know the principles of something before they "buy"
into it. I think that when businesses like this keep their cards
so close to them that it can be a sign they have nothing to
offer. However, not knowing too much about the Mitusa technique
I can not be certain as to it's validity at this point as it
will require more research.
What
I have been told is that the technique is very similar to one
of many that we provide in our video and book which as I said
before was copyright protected in 2002. I am not concerned about
that aspect as much as I disliked their marketing techniques
and initial refusal to educate women.
I
have no problem talking about this without knowing much about
the technique other than through eMails I have been receiving
for a few reasons...
I
am always open to exploring new potential in sexual techniques,
as I see that I am but one person and certainly humble enough
to say that I do not know everything there is to know about
sex. Just like any profession, there is always more to learn.
Honestly, I think that when we stop being open to learning more
about our profession that we do a great disservice to ourselves
and to the profession itself because there is always
room to evolve.
I also feel that just as I am a teacher of human sexuality,
we all have something to teach one another and have a voice
in the chorus that makes up the beautiful human symphony of
sexuality. Thus, I am open to learning from other's ideas, thoughts,
feelings and certainly willing to say "I don't know"
when I am unsure of something. If you do find someone that thinks
they know everything... be sure they don't and caution yourself
as their arrogance is more likely to lead to errors in judgment
rather than absolute accuracy.
Considering
what I do know of sex, and what those before us knew... (those
who really openly studied it, such as serious students of the
Kama Sutra, Tantra and other forms of sexual teachings, there
is nothing that can guarantee 100% success and there is little
that one can do to another physically that has not been done
many times before via a finger, penis, mouth or other anatomical
part. Thus, the idea that this is a new physical technique is
probably bogus, and rather a "rediscovery" of one
if valid at all.
Can
The Mitusa Technique Or Any Technique Be 100% Effective?
While the
Mitusa site does claim to "guarantee extremely intense
orgasms." There is no sexual technique that is going to
be 100% effective for ALL women at all times. Yes, we are all
capable of the same things as we have the same equipment, but
how well that equipment is working and the psyche of the person
owning that equipment is just as important. There are many components
to sexuality which require a holistic approach not just a physical
one. A person is not only a physical being but one with mental,
emotional, and spiritual needs as well. Sexuality is interconnected
with all of those components. If you neglect those then you
will never truly be a great lover.
That is
why our book and video
on female ejaculation has done so well, not just because
it addresses techniques, but because we look at addressing psychological
and mental aspects of a woman's sexuality as well. Learning
some "technique" is great, but certainly not the end
all answer.
It is why
Viagra only works on 2/3rds of men who use it... there is no
100% fool proof sexual technique, drug or toy. We are more than
just a body, and if you do not take a holistic approach to sex,
then you are missing out.
Landing
An Attractive Woman
There are
a few problems I have with any site that tells you that you
can land an attractive woman by knowing technique(s). Regardless
of the site you visit, if you find one that says this... that
you can "land" anyone by using "techniques"
I would question their motives. It feels to me that it takes
the heart out of romance and implies a scientific approach to
manipulating people when I hear of things like that.
I don't
care if a woman is considered attractive or unattractive, the
second a man thinks that knowing a technique is the secret to
our hearts or to just having sex has another thing coming. Eddie
Murphy made a joke about this in Delirious commenting
that when you make a woman orgasm well you have her wrapped
around your little finger, and I have to say Eddie, on that
one, while the joke was funny, you are wrong.
Women are
more than their genitals just as men are and to assume that
a sexual technique is going to keep them by your side begging
for more is simply backward thinking.
Marketing
No-String Sex
What I also
could not help but notice on the Mitusa site was that they marketed
"No Strings Sex" which is such an odd concept to me.
There is no such thing in my opinion... not when you have STDs,
pregnancy and safety risks at play and that is just the physical
aspects!
There are
always feelings involved even if it is for a short one night
stand. To not address that would be a non-holistic approach,
which basically means not to see the "whole" picture.
If someone
wants to say that they desire noncommittal sex, then we are
talking about a more realistic thing, however anytime you have
sex you are risking the possibility of an STD and that can be
a huge, life altering and possibly threatening aspect; not to
mention the risk of pregnancy and your physical safety with
someone you don't know very well.
I am all
for people who desire many partners and have a single lifestyle,
and open relationships because I do not judge what works for
others. I do have a problem with people who don't take into
account a need for respect, and responsibility that one should
naturally assume when they are sexually involved with another
human being even if it ends up being for a brief encounter.
What
Makes A Great Lover?
People
are always looking for the newest thing (myself included), and
yet I think we are often disappointed when our expectations,
bloated from marketing hype are often quickly let down from
the truth of what it really takes to be a great lover. It takes
work, education, tenacity, patience, giving, and it takes a
level of openness. These are a few things that make great lovers,
and honestly there is no technique or pill that will magically
take all of the effort out of what it takes to really do it
well long term.
Marketing
like I have been discussing is no different than those who make
diet pills that you can take while eating the same fattening
foods without exercise to lose weight. The quick fix, the one
new technique that will solve all your sexual woes seems to
me to be nothing more than a snake oil salesmen looking for
your money, not your sexual fulfillment.
That
is why we offer so many free articles and this free newsletter
because while we certainly want to make a living we are primarily
concerned with making a difference in peoples lives and when
you "buy in" to a new sexual technique, toy, or anything
for that matter make sure you look for a company that has your
interests at heart as well as theirs.
I invite our newsletter subscribers to let us know if they have
heard of or know of the Mitusa technique and if it worked for
you. Also, feel free to simply write your thoughts about any
aspect of this article and we will bring a more in depth follow
up with your comments and more on this Mitusa oral sex technique.

I wanted
to just provide a warning reminder to those who search adult
material on the web. The Internet can be dangerous at times
especially when you cruise for adult material. There are a lot
of scam artists, and hackers eager to take advantage. One I
myself have found find are web sites that will try and download
a virus or illegal porn to your computer. Make sure that you
stay alert to updates in protective technology and update your
anti-virus software often! One thing you can be sure of is that
our site is safe and at least you can relax while surfing it.

The Girl Next Door
If
you want to watch a new type of Risky Business, then this
is a great rental or DVD to buy.
Emile Hirsche seamlessly portrays Matthew, the bored high
school senior with dreams of Georgetown, whose attentions
are turned from his studies to the unbelievably gorgeous
Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert). This is not a stupid, pointless
teen movie and for those of you like me who want a little
meaning with sexuality this is a great flick.
When
Danielle's past catches up with them, in the form of sleazily
attractive ex-lover/director Kelly (scene-stealing Timothy
Olyphant, in the Joe Pantiliano role from Risky Business),
Matthew must go to great lengths to save himself and her
from disaster.
Some
parts of this movie are relatively implausible, but the
characters are realistic and heartfelt. Altogether, a
very feel-good film rife with the sort of sophisticated
plot twists and clever cinematography one doesn't expect
from teen comedies. Highly recommended.

Dear
Lisa,
I
have begun using a diaphragm. My problem is that I swell
up every time I use it. I get very tender inside, and
I don't know if it is the diaphragm or the spermicide.
Can you help?
-
Amy
Hi
Amy,
I
personally had a hard time with the diaphragm because
it turned out my doctor had not provided the right size
and I found it terribly uncomfortable, however the diaphragm
is an excellent method of contraception. It is commonly
fitted for you by your gynecologist, with or without an
arcing spring on its rim (which helps it to fit snugly
against the cervix).
Usually, unless you have a fit that's much too tight like
I did, there should be no swelling just from the mechanical
aspects of wearing this little rubber hat inside at the
end of your vaginal canal. But you may want to discuss
the size with you doctor just in case that is the issue.
However,
it is more common to have an allergic reaction to spermicides.
You can try a different brand and experiment with a milder
dosage of the nonoxynol-9 that most spermicides contain.
There is a product called Erogel, which is a spermicidal
lubricant containing nonoxynol-15 and avena sativa that
may also be a good alternative.
Honestly,
I would speak with you doctor about it as they may need
to not only determine if the size is correct, or if there
is a possible medical issue such as an undiagnosed STD
that is causing the swelling. In cases like these it is
best to seek medical assistance just to make sure you
are covering all the bases.
I
wish you well in getting this worked out!
Love
& Light,
Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Is
it ok to use sex toys (vibrator, dildo) during pregnancy.
My wife seems to think it isn't. I'm not so sure.
Sincerely,
Bill
Hi
Bill,
Sex
is generally considered safe for pregnant women, and there
are studies that prove that. However, because we still
have a long way to go in the study of sexuality there
are no studies that deal with vibrators and dildos specifically.
On the other hand, there are no studies that that suggest
any negative effects of vibrator use during pregnancy
either.
There
are, however, a few guidelines to follow for safe and
healthy sex during pregnancy. Let me put it this way,
if my doctor told me that it's safe to exercise and have
sexual intercourse during pregnancy, then I would assume
that using a vibrator is also safe.
Whether
or not it is safe for a woman to have an orgasm during
pregnancy is perhaps the most important issue to address.
For most normal, healthy pregnant woman orgasm is a good
tension reliever and may be easier to achieve because
of the increased blood flow to the perineum. There is
a slight chance that an orgasm could induce premature
labor for woman with a history of premature labor, a history
of infections during pregnancy, early cervical changes
and/or frequent uterine contractions so to mention this
to her treating doctor is a good idea as every pregnancy
is unique.

Dear
Lisa,
I
was quiet surprised to see the article about female wet
dreams in your recent newsletter. I have never see anyone
else broach the subject. I have had these since I was
a teenager and thought that I was weird because of it.
It was nice to see I was not alone. Actually I often have
these more than several times a year more like ten to
fifteen times a year. One night I had it happen three
times in less than two hours. Needless to say I was very
tired the next day. I never knew what would set them off.
Thanks for bring to light something that often is pushed
