  • Mid-Atlantic Service Associate: Supervised fifteen staff members as Team Leader delegated correspondences to appropriate Service Associates. Trained new employees: trained staff on six internal computer programs, monitored calls, reviewed trainee cases, and provided trainees with insight for productive solutions. Counselor in a group home for adolescents (Tanager Place). Therapeutic focus varied with client clinical diagnosis: specializations in sexual abuse and ADHD.     Education

    Dr. Lawless completed her undergraduate studies at Elon University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and Psychology in 1992. She then pursued her Masters of Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University in 1994 and later obtained a Ph.D. in Holistic Health from the American Institute of Holistic Theology in 2002.

    In addition, she has attended various workshops, webinars, and seminars focusing on the latest research, treatment techniques, and innovations in psychotherapy, sexual health, and more.

    She is an accredited member of The American College of Sexologists International (ACS) and has held membership through The American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).
