Futurotic
Plus is a trademarked brand of a line of sex toys made from a
softened variation of thermoplastic elastomer, a blend of polyvinyl
chloride and silicone. Futurotic Plus is similar to Cyberskin
in texture and feel but may contain phthalates, a chemical blend
used for softening.
Example
Some
adult toys are made from Futurotic Plus such as Teagan's
Masturbation Sleeve.
TPE
has many other uses as well. Some examples are automobile airbag
covers, yoga mats and medical catheters.

free. We suggest referring to manufacturer or item description

This
material is also very porous therefore easily harbors bacteria
and cannot be sterilized. We recommend using a condom
with adult toys made of Futurotic Plus to protect against possible
exposure to toxins and bacteria.
Cleaning
Recommendations
Futurotic Plus is extremely porous and should be cleaned between
each use with warm water and mild soap or antibacterial
sex toy cleaners.
Once
dry, sprinkle with the included "renewing"
powder or cornstarch. Never use talcum powder or baby powder,
as these can cause irritation and sometimes larger problems for
women. Corn starch and a soft cloth may also be used to bring
the toy back to life. (Talcum powder has been implicated as a
possible cause of ovarian cancer.)
This
material is also very porous, therefore easily harbors bacteria
and cannot be sterilized. We
suggest condom use with any product made of Futurotic Plus material.
We highly
recommend storing Futurotic Plus items in a storage/separation
bag or wrapped in thin material, as the porous surface can
absorb anything it comes in contact with. It is also recommended
that you store Futurotic Plus toys in a cool, dark place.
Lubricants
Use only water based
lubricants with Futurotic Plus products. Silicone or petroleum
based oils will damage this material. We also recommend using
a condom with Futurotic Plus products, as they easily absorb germs
and bacteria due to the porosity of the material.
