Futurotic
is a trademarked brand of a softened variation of thermoplastic
elastomer, a blend of polyvinyl chloride and silicone. Futurotic
is similar to Cyberskin
in texture and feel but may contain phthalates, a chemical blend
used for softening.

Stroke Master and Teegan's
Masturbation Sleeve.
TPE
has many other uses as well. Some examples are automobile airbag
covers, yoga mats and medical catheters.

This
material is also very porous therefore easily harbors bacteria
and cannot be sterilized. We recommend using a condom with adult
toys made of Futurotic to protect against possible exposure to
toxins and bacteria.
Cleaning
Recommendations
Futurotic is extremely porous and should be cleaned between each
use with warm water and mild soap or antibacterial
sex toy cleaners.
Once
dry, sprinkle with the included "renewing"
powder or cornstarch. Never use talcum powder or baby powder,
as these can cause irritation and sometimes larger problems for
women. Corn starch and a soft cloth may also be used to bring
the toy back to life. (Talcum powder has been implicated as a
possible cause of ovarian cancer.)
This
material is also very porous, therefore easily harbors bacteria
and cannot be sterilized. We
suggest condom use with any product
made of Futurotic material.
We highly
recommend storing Futurotic items in a storage/separation
bag or wrapped in thin material, as the porous surface can
absorb anything it comes in contact with. It is also recommended
that you store Futurotic toys in a cool, dark place.
Lubricants
Use only water based
lubricants with Futurotic products. Silicone or petroleum based
oils will damage this material. We also recommend using a condom
with Futurotic products, as they easily absorb germs and bacteria
due to the porosity of the material.
