Sex
Toys & More
New
Supersoft is a trademarked name for a line of sex toys made from
variation of Thermoplastic Elastomer. Thermoplastic Elastomer
is a thermoplastic polymer blend that can be manufactured into
a range of textures.
Example
New
Supersoft is used to make some adult toys.
Thermoplastic
Elastomer has many other uses. Some examples are automobile airbag
covers, yoga mats and medical catheters.
Allergy
Or Toxin Warnings
New Supersoft products may contain phthalates.
Phthalates are chemicals used to soften plastics that has been
shown to be linked to several environmental and individual health
issues.
If you are considering purchasing a New Supersoft sex toy, we
recommend checking with the manufacturer on whether or not the
product is free of phthalates or purchasing from a store such
as Holistic Wisdom, Inc. that is committed to offering only nontoxic
sexual products.
Cleaning
Recommendations
Adult toys made of New Supersoft should be cleaned with mild soap
and warm water or antibacterial
sex toy cleaners. New Supersoft is a porous material, therefore
it can easily harbor bacteria, germs and dirt and cannot be sterilized.
We recommend using a condom with toys made from New Supersoft..
Once
dry, sprinkle with the included "renewing"
powder or cornstarch. Never use talcum powder or baby powder,
as these can cause irritation and sometimes larger problems for
women. Corn starch and a soft cloth may also be used to bring
the toy back to life. (Talcum powder has been implicated as a
possible cause of ovarian cancer.)
We
highly recommend storing New Supersoft items in an individual
storage/separation bag or wrapped
in thin material, as the porous surface can absorb anything it
comes in contact with. It is also recommended that you store New
Supersoft toys in a cool, dark place.
Lubricants
Waterbased
only. Silicone or oil base lubricants will damage this material.
We also recommend using a condom with New Supersoft products,
as they easily absorb germs and bacteria due to the high porosity
of the material.
