You won't have to worry about becoming the victim of a scam, because I will only refer you to the best affiliate programs and resources out there. There are a lot of scam artists out there, and I can tell you that they can be quite slick and ruthless. You can rest assured that I have your best interest in mind, and I will give you only sound advice.

Of all the home business opportunities, making money with Internet affiliate programs is by far the most popular avenue to take these days. Internet affiliate programs have created an explosion of wealth for the masses. As I said before, all you need to get started with affiliate programs is create a web site. If you don't have a web site, you need not worry or feel left out. I will explain step by step how you can get your own web site for free or at a minimal cost, even if you are completely new to the Internet scene.

As you continue to read through my site, you will find that I am a direct and practical person. I am not going to tell you that there is no work involved or even that you will instantly become rich. Outrageous claims like that sound too good to be true because they are!

I will tell you that being an Internet affiliate is easy to do, easy to learn, and does not take a lot of time. Basically you are going to need to spend about a week or two putting your site(s) up, and submitting it to the search engines, and maybe doing a little maintenance work on your site to keep yourself listed well on the search engines from time to time. That is it.

The secret to the beginning of my financial success on the Internet was becoming an affiliate. For those of you who do not know what and affiliate is... I will explain...

An Internet affiliate is a person who signs up with a company and promotes their services independently of that company (usually though a web site). The affiliate (you) then gets money for any leads or sales that you send to the company you are promoting through your web site.

An affiliate program is a method of rewarding individuals for sending web surfers to a particular company. As an affiliate, you will be paid a set amount of money per lead or sale as a commission.

An example of how this works-

When I was just starting this line of work, I signed up with Amazon.com as an affiliate to help them make sales. As you probably know, Amazon.com is a huge Internet company which sells books and other items. Amazon.com has an Internet affiliate program, as many companies do these days. This is done to get the word out to people about their products and services by having people like you and I market their services and get paid for doing so.

So I set up a web site promoting Amazon.com and submitted it to the search engines. For every sale that Amazon.com makes from people that come through my web site to theirs to buy something, I get a percentage of that sale. It is Amazon.com who pays me a commission for that sale.

How does an affiliate program like Amazon.com know you sent them a customer and made them a sale?

Affiliate programs on the web have special software programs and computer code that tell them that the customer that came to their web site, came from you. That way they make sure to credit you for that referral and/or sale.

How do you promote an affiliate program like Amazon.com's products?

You build a web site and then submit it to the search engines to get people to come to your site. They see that you are promoting Amazon.com or another company and because they want to buy something that Amazon.com or another company that you are promoting sells, they click on your special affiliate link from your site and go to Amazon.com's site to buy it, giving you credit for the sale.

But what if I do not know how to build a web page, or know how to do this?

Building a web page is easy and does not take a lot of work, especially if you follow my step by step directions. I have taken all of the guessing and hard work out of this for you. Through this site, I am sharing all of the secrets I have learned along the way of becoming a successful affiliate.

How much money can I make?

That depends on the Affiliate program that you sign up with (ours is a sure winner at $5.00 per sale), and how competitive on the web it is to sell for them. That is why you will want to read through my site. Believe it or not, Amazon.com is not one that you are likely to make a ton of money promoting. I have used Amazon.com as a perfect example for this first lesson in choosing an affiliate program.

The reason that Amazon.com's affiliate program is difficult to make money using is because they are such a huge company. You might think that this would mean that it is easier to promote and you would be right, but there is big a challenge, one worth examining. Yes, Amazon.com and other large companies like it are easy to promote, but they only pay you 3% of the sales that you send them, and there is a lot of competition from other affiliates and other companies like Amazon.com out there promoting them. While they have a solid affiliate program that you can trust, it is more difficult to make a lot of money from them.

I promote several different companies (including ours) that make a lot of money, are reputable companies and are not as competitive with other web sites promoting the same products, thus making it easier to make sales. The bonus is that I get to promote affiliate programs that are quality programs and keep my customers coming back to my site to see what else we recommend. It is truly a win-win situation!

From one affiliate web site that I have up on the Internet, I make over 2,000.00 a month, and I have over 20 web sites up promoting different companies... so you can imagine the money I have flowing in every month. I have a friend that does this professionally, took my advice and is now making $20,000.00 a month! He just bought a new, fully loaded Corvette with cash! He is now looking at a buying a new house... it is truly amazing at what you can accomplish.

The greatest part about it is that affiliates like yourself can sit back and let your web sites do all the work. I actually do very little maintenance work on my web sites, and the rest of my time is filled with doing those things that I love, with a wonderfully large income to help make all my financial dreams come true!

There are a lot of work at home and affiliate sites out there and it is easy to get confused. I was confused by all the hype at first and didn't know where to start either. That's why I created this affiliate guide... to teach you to not only promote our affiliate program (without all the years it took me of figuring it all out and doing intensive research) and because I'm dedicated to helping others become a successful affiliate like myself.
